How to buy and sell shares on a U.S. stock market if I live abroad?

I live in South America Ecuador. I would buy and sell actions, but do not know how. Please let me know how. Thanks.

I would say the easiest way would be open and fund a brokerage account in the U.S. and then sustain the population there (without a certificate of shares) in an account in the name of the street. You might also check out to an online account, such as Scottrade, TDAmeritrade and many others. It sure would be much cheaper in terms of commissions concerned and their service is generally good.
