Begginner in the stock market?

I would like to enter the stock market but do not really know much about him at all. I'm going to Yahoo Finance Stocks see but I just end up getting really lost, can anyone suggest a book for me to help me get started. Is there a "For Dummies" book on the stock market? If so, is it good? Advice of those experienced in the stock market would really be appreciated. Thanks.
