Beginner Books for trading on the stock market in the UK?

I want to learn to trade in the stock market, so I'm looking for the best books on this subject. I'm not sure whether to buy: – The Naked trader: how anyone can make money trading shares by Robbie Burns, OR – Stocks Made Simple: A Guide for Beginners Stock Market by Rodney Hobson Has anyone read these books and can make a recommendation on the best / most useful? thanks

I have read any of them. best book to buy is one that does not say "how to make money" but, rather, to teach the basics stock market.
