What is a definition of stock market for dummies?

The market values is the vehicle through which investors can own a piece of a company. It is also the means of raising money for small businesses to grow and create more jobs. The stock market is what capitalism is all. When people do their home work, starting a business and make it work, they are rewarded. When an investor does his homework, and pick up good companies to invest their savings in, he / she is rewarded. In all cases, these awards also come with risk. Darwinism reigns. The fittest survive and thrive. The lazy and stupid error. In the market, the fittest are those who study investments, regularly review and manage their portfolios and achieve a high level of achievement in their efforts.
