Where should I invest in real estate, Albuquerque, New Mexico or Austin / Houston, Texas?

Have you analyzed the housing market both? What about the quality of schools, the number of crimes, and the unemployment rate? The only place I know who still has a housing market is strong, Richardson, TX, because they have some of the best schools in the nation. Albuquerque has crime IMO too much for investment property to maintain its value in time.
