Fun online game / website for tweens and teens?

Hi, I wonder if anyone knows of any fun, creative web sites online games for girls and young adolescents in? "I grew up in Club Penguin and Neopets, and I really do not want to join GirlSense or MapleStory. It would be better if the site / game was free, and if so neopets and club penguin but a little more complex for older children. If this helps at all, I enjoy writing / blogging, play online games, and music (which does not have to define tips website). Thanks!

Tell your parents to WoW. I'm not a geek or anything, just a compulsive gambler. There are lots of kids there, there's always something new to do, there is no way to set to play, totally open as to how you want play the game.
