Good blog communities like Vox?

I miss the connection between all the bloggers vox and I have not found any other site from another blog. I've tried Blogger, TypePad and WordPress. Tumblr is the closest thing to it, so far, but really do not like the way it is set. Any suggestions?

Livejournal! You can find a lot of communities in the area and find people of interest. I've been on livejournal since 1999 and people can not be Near Point and fun once you get in the game.
